Political psychology of Southeast Asia

This special thematic section spotlights the current state of political psychology in Southeast Asia. Drawing from various research methodologies, five papers published this provide psychological insights into different topics past and present-day Asia, including 1) Islam politics; 2) terrorist labelling; 3) violence against minorities; 4) moralised policies; 5) vote-buying. Overall, contributes to understanding non-WEIRD (Western, Educated, Industrialized, Rich, Democratic) populations, particularly The need for more publications with samples field is discussed, as are some strategies actualise goal.
